COLUMNA

The piece belong to a series called Asp. The entire set of works comes from the symbol of the snake, a representative icon of feminine power in different ancient civilizations (Coatlicue/Mexicas, Mami Watta/Africa, Tiamat/Mesopotamia).
The sculptures are fragments in repetition of the curves of the asp, creating new patterns that evoke figures or concepts that surround the mythology of the snake.
